How to Fix

  1. 1

Check door gasket for damage — if damaged, replace door gasket.

  2. 2

Enter Test Mode 1 (push test button 1 time on Main PCB). Check CON9 5th-to-13th-pin voltage: should be 0 V. If not 0 V, replace Main PCB.

  3. 3

Enter Test Mode 3 (push test button 3 times). Check CON9 5th-to-13th-pin voltage: should be 112–116 V. If not in range, replace Main PCB.

  4. 4

Check Fuse-M resistance (pins 1-to-2): should be 0–0.1 Ω. If open (OL), replace Fuse-M.

  5. 5

Check defrost heater resistance: should be 62–70 Ω (42–50 Ω is acceptable range per flowchart). If open or shorted, replace defrost heater assembly.

  6. 6

Check defrost sensor resistance at CON8 26th-to-25th-pin against table. If OL or 22 kΩ at room temperature (normal), sensor is OK.

  7. 7

If heater and fuse check OK but error persists and voltage is correct, explain to customer (door seal issue or environmental factor).
